On her wedding day,

all she saw outside was grey,

her feet refused to go out and play,

it didn’t matter that he promised to carry her away,

she was still tethered to her in a way,

and given the leeway,

she would be on a subway walkway, intent to waylay,

find her, whose heart twas foretold would be hers.
