She tried to look at the blades as they spun round and round over them, of course she couldn’t see anything but it was all she could do to keep from throwing up. It didn’t make her feel any better that the fuel tank was right behind her, what if it exploded!
“Ma-am we are almost landing”, a voice came over her ear piece. She looked out and saw the landing pad. “Finally!” she exclaimed in relief and in the same breath a jet of hot fluid shot through her mouth and nose square on to the chest of the secret service agent seated across from her.
“Dammit!” she cursed.
“Would you like to go to your quarters first Ma-am?”
“Yes, please…”
“What happens in the chopper stays in the chopper Ma-am,” a reassuring voice came followed by a smile across from her.

My reaction is a mix between “aww” and “eww.” A fear of flying (or just flying in a helicopter) was clearly rough on her. That relief spewed right out of her with the bubbling hot anxiety. Hopefully, everyone keeps the deal that what happens on the chopper, stays on the chopper. Great job!

Haha! I think I’ve seen too many sci-fi movies – I imagined that she was an alien, accidentally shooting green alien goo over her security guard! Great story and nicely written π

Ha very funny. Made me smile! I was picturing the First Lady or the British Prime Minister in the helicopter.

Nice story. I feel for her. How embarassing. At least the security agent handled it well. Maybe it’s the start of a great new relationship!

Cute story Joy, I can imagine many people wouldn’t feel so great flying in a helicopter. Not all of us are good with heights and the movements of such a small aircraft. Its like sea sickness in a way.

Well, looking at the blades was clearly NOT the way to go. Lesson learned! π
