Friendlovership

Could we be lovers not friends?

Meet at the cover of night,

When the sun kisses the horizon,

Our Lips will lock and hold,

Till the morning comes,

At first light we part.

Could we be friends not lovers?

Meet at the touch of first light,

Run along the meadows,

Fly a kite, feed the birds,

Lie on the grass,

Till dusk we apart, a smile on our heart.

Could we be Lovers and friends?

Spend our days together,

From the passion of the dark,

To the sensation of first light,

Find comfort on each other,

Complemented in a union so pure.

Will you be my Companion for life?
